Magical Moments

Here’s the reason why many of love our woodland, no matter what time of year it is, a magical experience is always there to be had.  Thanks to Greyman for sending us these  photos.  If you’ve got any you would like to share send them to me by email and I’ll put up a gallery. It would be quite nice to have page for each month as the seasons move on.

“Had the most amazing sunset tonight! We had been up the wood – Mrs Greyman
snooping about and me slabbing up some recently felled ash and an old fallen
oak – when we started to pack up to go home. We loaded the car, worrying
that the amount of stuff I’d slabbed and put in the back would make the car
ground on the way up the track, and were just having a last look down the
track when the pale pink slightly cloudy sky suddenly blazed like there was
a town on fire in the distance. It lasted about 5 minutes or so and then
died away to the normal blue/grey of a February sky. The picture doesn’t
really do it justice as it was taken on my HTC but none the less it was a
special end to the afternoons work.”
