Tried some Wild Service seeds last year. Some planted 'fresh' and others stored out in the cold to overwinter. Only one has germinated and looks dubious it is Wild Service.
F C guide for raising trees from seed says to pre-treat for 30 weeks at 4*C before planting in March so will try to do it properly next time. Was a really good year for Wild Service seeds last year in southeast, so perhaps not so many about this year. But fingers crossed for enough seed to try again this year.

Can recommend the F C Practice Guide, Raising trees and shrubs from seed, by Peter Gosling.

Think it's £20 if you're a 'friend' of wilderness wood, £30 if not.

I note that there has been a recent post on the Oxfordshire Woodland Group web forum regarding the collection and sale of blue bell seeds.
