Sapling re-homing

Postby Rich » Thu Sep 29, 2016 5:25 pm

Hello
Is there anyone with a wood in the East Grinstead area who can home a few saplings. Someone approached me at Bentley woodfair last week and although they are all in pots, she needs the room in her garden.

There are 15 or so oak, 4 silver birch and a scots pine. Drop me a line if you have a space in your wood and I will put you in touch. They have all been grown locally from local seed.

I will suggest this... I wonder if their life expectancy would be greater in a school field, or a deer plagued high weald ancient woodland?
