Just so that Matt, Sarah, Phil and other midlanders feel welcome - you can also have your own section ;--)

Cool :-)

That would be helpful, as I'm sure there are plenty of issues in common here.

Thanks Tracy,

I have only just cught up on the BLOG after a very hectic couple of weeks.

A midlands section sounds great. Perhaps we could all meet at Sarahs open day.

Just a reminder to all Midlands SWOG members that there is an Open Day at Alvecote Wood this coming weekend, on Sunday 8th November from 10am to 4pm (last guided tour at 3pm). Details on the web site www.alvecotewood.co.uk

It was really nice to see some Midlands SWOG folk at our Open Day. It was the most successful yet, with a record number of visitors. Sale of our little craft items raised enough to buy a good number of hazel and other native species to establish some new coppice areas and replace some of the elder scrub!

That is brilliant news! I wish I could have been there, looking forward to the write up and photos from Phil....

I hope somebody took some photos - we're always too busy to do that!
