yup, even though we have not seen anymore squizzers or had no more damage to the bird feeders, and the kania traps have been empty these last few weeks, all the Hazel nuts that I was waiting on, seem to have disappeared :x

Hello

My pet Hornets, living in a bird box have over time gnawed at 1 specific log for pulp
They get quite stressed if I move the log which is used to weigh down a drum lid. They fly around confused
They have eaten quite a large gouge in the log, counted up to five at a time
They have been about all summer without any hassle
They enjoy sugar but I lost two (which were closely investigated by the live ones) in some orange juice, this may prove they are not good swimmers but they do fly well
