from the two hives in my garden, we removed 77lb of honey, a very sticky job, so a good reason for doing cut comb with the woods bees, hope to get a full super off this coming weekend,

I've been following these people since they came out, it looks a good gadget, but it's pay now (£275) and hope to get delivery by november, meaning you wont put it to use until april ish 2016
I think I'll hold onto my reddies a little longer and see if the price comes down, there's bound to be a copy coming from china pretty soon, and everyone here's knows I love the imported stuff

as it happens, I didn't hold out very long, after following the flow hive campaign until it's launch, I bit the bullet and ordered 7 flow frames and box, delivery is estimated around september, they are made to fit into or onto a langstroth hive, of course I have nationals,commercials and rose hives, so good old e bay to the rescue I picked up a second hand langstroth, as I hoped to collect a swarm of bees this year, get them housed into the langstroth and build up a good colony, so when the flow frames arrive, I can get them fitted to the hive spring 2016,
they have been blown away by the response to the campaign, raising over 12 million, lets hope it works as good in the UK as it does in Australia, they have opened up their own forum for customers, and because I was helping answer so many bee related questions to beginners, they then asked me to become a moderator fancy that, me a mod
