a couple of weeks back, we invited a few friends to ours woods for a camp over, we were going to erect a zip wire, but the rain put paid to that idea, so instead we just enjoyed ourselves,

Dead hedging and fun

Postby Dexter's Shed » Tue Oct 01, 2013 1:43 am

our main helper Lewis, also known as our Head Ranger is a dab hand at putting together videos of our work and fun at Goose Wood, this is his latest version from last week when we used some coppiced Hazel from earlier in the year, to carry on our dead hedge efforts.

for anyone not liking guns, please note all cheap cans of coke were humanly dispatched after being shot

here is a clip of an e bay bargain, made up a leather roof flange and fitted into our marquee, its great for boiling the kettle on, and warming yourself up, will be used mainly when working in the woods in the autumn/winter months, or on our camping trips, as our next one is to celebrate samhain a day or two late in November, we had it chucking out heat to 500 degrees F yesterday, so should be good, although we still sleep outside in our hammocks

No better place than a wood, to celebrate the turning of the wheel.
