FC grant reminders


England – Funds are still available for woodland creation grant applications with a

claim year of 2010/2011 or later, until each regional budget is fully committed.

South West – Woodland Improvement Grant for Biodiversity (80%) now includes

East Midlands – £4 million available over the next two years for both woodland

creation and management to help woodland birds.

East of England – Ancient Woodland Restoration WIG; up to 80% of standard

costs can been paid for applications for the protection and restoration of ancient
