I think I can do the basic chainsaw operations fairly safely perhaps but would like to learn more and perhaps get a certificate for when I do voluntary work. Can anyone recommend any courses available in Kent/Sussex please?

I'm a bit confused about the certifying bodies ie LANTRA, NPTC, etc . Are they of equal standing or is there one that's more widely accepted?

Hi Steve

You definitely want David Rossney, Esus forestry. You can see him on woodlands TV.

Google all that! Sorry this is short, in a very very wet Wales and soon off to an equally wet Cheshire for our swog meeting!
