New Woodland Owner & Member Hello...

Postby Zathras » Tue Jul 02, 2013 10:56 am

I've been watching this forum from a distance for a while now, but have only just joined.

I've had an interested in purchasing a woodland for very many years, and finally found one to suit us and within budget; which is in conveyancing as I write. With a little luck it will be officially mine within the next few weeks.

So, a big hullo to everybody here and I look forward to chatting to you all over the coming years.

Mike.

The woodland is in East Midlands, although our home base is West of London at the moment.

Welcome. Whereabouts in the E.Midlands? We're on the Notts/Leics border and Derbyshire. We could be neighbours

Ditto. Another East Midlander here. Not many patches of woodland for sale up here at the moment. What's your woodland like? New/old/ancient?

Sorry about the delay in responding, the purchase took much longer than expected after unearthing some challanges. Not least of which was a undeclared TPO.

But we've finally exchanged contracts last week and will complete in due course.

Compo; I'm keeping location details vague in public posts but happy to let you know in a PM. But it's not far from Doncaster.

Bearwood; It's just under 7 acres, lots of Hawthorn and a little Ash with some loverly water features.
