Uncut Firewood

Postby durhambrown » Fri Feb 06, 2015 9:59 am

New to the SWOG Forum. I was wondering if anyone could advise me the best way to get my hands on some uncut timber (sometimes referred to as uncut cord wood) - in 2 to 3 metre lengths. I want to cut and split my own logs for use on a woodburner. Either delivered to home or pick up. I can only find merchants who are supplying to the 'trade' in wagon loads which is far too much for me, I only need about 20-30 sections at a time.
Grateful for any advice.

Get over to arbtalk. Good contacts can be made there with tree surgeons.
