Monkey puzzle wood

Hi

I live near Falkirk in central Scotland and was given the wood as a Christmas present last year.

I want to improve and maintain the woodand would love some advice. The wood is about 4.5 acres mixed broad wood with pines and Ponticum. Most of the trees are 100 + years. The wood is connected to my garden by1.5 acres of swampy ground( I am trying to turn this into a meadow with wet bits) .
