Our trusty tractor, a big, robust, powerfull machine with no frills. We've been using it for pulling our timber trailer and running the crane, never let us down. Just bought a tractor with a loader and winch, so dont have the room (or money) to run them both. £4000.
Landrover Capstan winch. (2.5, 2.5td, 200+300tdi)
Simply bolts on in place of the front bumper. A very usefull tool for pulling stuff about, line pull 3.5tonne. Works from a pto shaft connected to the crankshaft pulley, then 2 wraps of rope and friction. A very controlled pull, can be used for directional felling.
Comes with bumper, brackets, pto shaft, crank dog, new uj, and a brand new winch rope. £400.
I'm based in Herefordshire but can arrange transport, or put winch on a pallet.
