Anglian Ecology are holding a one day training course on British bats and woodland management from 09:30 am until 4:00 pm on Friday February 28th 2014
The course is specifically designed for those who work in ecology, architecture, arboriculture, conservation or who would like to add to their Continuing Professional Development by learning about bats, trees and the law, or for those who are working towards a Natural England Bat Licence.
The course is being tutored by Mr. David Mitchell and Sue Morgan.
David is a tree-consultant specialising in practical woodland management and local authority development planning for 25 years. He holds the prestigious Professional Diploma in Arboriculture (Royal Forestry Society) and is a Fellow of the Arboricultural Association.
Sue Morgan is a chartered ecologist of 16 years experience and a Natural England Licence holder for protected species.
The course venue is near Stradbroke Suffolk and will include a visit to a private semi-natural woodland which is also a County Wildlife site.
