Hi there everyone- looking to grow a crop

Postby Sinan2 » Tue May 17, 2016 3:07 pm

Hi everyone

I thought I would introduce myself here first.

I am looking to grow a certain crop that will take a couple of years to grow. I will wait to discuss the details if anyone is interested

It grows in woodlands

I am looking for 1/2-1 acre of woodland (preferably sloping).

My purpose for growing this crop is to provide some help with funding to build a sustainable community abroad somewhere in the near future.

I am willing to share some percentage of the crop/profit earned.

Anyone interested?

I live in Kent, but am willing to travel to plant some of this crop, it doesnt take too much work to grow.

Interesting idea but Ginseng apparently takes at least five or six years to yield a mature sellable root.

When I posted this thread, i was considering getting 3 year old mature rootlets.

But Im thinking that seed is cheaper, and the relative period of waiting and short term cash flow needs are the same 2 years, 3 years is not so different to me.

In an acre or so of space a good profit is possible, and that is enough to buy land.
