Borehole Records

Hi All,

If you weren't already aware, the British Geological Survey holds a public database of over a million Borehole records around the UK.

On my 5 acres alone there was at least 5 records from the 1990's and 1920's going down to around 30 meters. They show a complete detailed record of the composition of the ground, fascinating stuff.

Wow thanks, really interesting. None in my woods but not far away. Looks like the area is mainly sandy/silty clay over limestone.
