Garden Moths Count 2009 starts on Saturday 20 June and runs until Sunday 28 June. Moths are an important part of biodiversity but many species are in serious decline, so please encourage people to take part and help us find out what is happening to the marvellous moths that live in our gardens! Garden Moths Count is a simple survey that anyone can take part in, with no need for previous knowledge or special equipment. Go to www.mothscount.org for details of the twenty target species to look for and simple ways to find them – including fun things for children to try.
Note GARDENS not woods ;-)
