Just an idea for anyone who might not have heard/thought of it before - I certainly hadn't until this weekend - but there's a product being sold in various places called a 'pollinating bee log' - its simply a scooped out log with bamboo sticks in it for solitary bees to nest in near your flowers/plants/fruits, etc to help with pollination.
I just thought it could be another source of income as a product to make from your woodlands. I'd like to make one to use on my windowsill, but am not sure how to go about scooping out the inner hole... I think they also sell them in Lakeland for £18.
