To celebrate the launch of the Weald Forest Ridge Partnership Scheme BTCV, alongside all 18 delivery partners, will be at the Weald Forest Ridge Heritage Event, Calverley Grounds, Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 19th July, 1-5pm. Rich in history this is a good opportunity to come and learn about this unique landscape heritage.
Set within the High Weald AONB the Weald Forest Ridge runs east to west in an almost unbroken line from Horsham to Tunbridge Wells. With its own distinctive Ridge character the remnants of the Weald’s four largest medieval forests are home to open heath, ancient iron workings and the South East’s only sandstone rock outcrops.
