I'm a cabinetmaker working in London and I've got a client who's felling an oak later this month in north London and wants the timber milled, air-dried and made into furniture. The felling, drying, storage and cabinetmaking is all taken care of, but we do need to find someone with a mobile mill willing to work on the site.

The clean trunk looks about 4 metres long and the diameter is around 1 metre. I'd like to maximise the amount of quarter-sawn material produced, so I'd certainly consider a Lucas mill.

There's limited access to the site, and the milling contractor will need to have public liability insurance and provide a method statement. The client could help out with producing the statement if necessary.
