we have got way too many chooks running around the woods at the moment (mostly because my dad couldn't help himself - every time a hen went broody - he just had to give them a clutch of eggs to sit on )
anyway - if anybody fancies some bantams (mostly game crosses) there are several troups that can go, including:
hen plus 6 chicks (approx 3-4 weeks old)
hen plus 10 chicks (approx 4-5 weeks old)
4 pullets - approx 3 months+ old
troup of 4 pullets with a rose comb cockrel - approx 1 year old - these bantams are used to a woodland setting - and the pullets spend a fair bit of the year broody - so are great if your want to hatch eggs
