Muntjac

Found out at a RFS meeting that there are muntjac deer in this area. I've not seen any but they are notoriously secretive. I'm interested in your experience with these? Are they causing problems?

By a process of deduction as Sitkaspruce is on the Eastern edge of a Ramorum zone and in Muntjac area, I'd hazard he's somewhere in the east Midlands- maybe Somewhere between Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, or maybe Northants?

Muntjac, See loads around Milton Keynes as they are original escapees from Woburn also some Chinese Water Deer

Tring Area has an abundance of Glis Glis (Edible Dormouse) as they escaped in 1902 from Rothschild's Private collection

Interesting deduction OldClayPaws-Definitely east of ramorum but am apparently in a muntjac area as they are now considered to be in all areas. No intention to be secretive, I'm in the North East of England
Had no idea they were anywhere near here as per your suggestion of East Midlands. I've only seen roe deer and seen them on trail camera.
