Butterflies often provide wonderful photo opportunities so its a good idea to have a digital camera with you in the woods.
Please keep an extra special look-out in May and June for the woodland specialist butterflies - Grizzled Skipper, Dingy Skipper, Silver-washed Fritillary, White Admiral, Pearl-bordered Fritillary, Purple Emperor. If you see any of these I would be especially interested to hear from you.
