Bu***r me just when I thought I had it sussed. Had a look at Echo - very expensive compared to the Husky. Rang local dealer about the Husky 143R11 brush cutter - he quoted £580 (RRP) and when I said I could buy on line at around £400 he said "snap their hand off, I can't buy them for that". Best he could do was £500. Pity small dealers can't compete anywhere close to the big boys. Seems very unfair.

Had a look at Echo - very expensive compared to the Husky


or not;

Husky 440E, 40.9cc, power 1.8 KW, £355 (Radmores)

Echo CS450, 45cc, power 1.9 KW £374 (Radmores again)

Doesn't seem to be much in it........
