FC Felling licence

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to calculate 5 cu metres in standing trees? This is the felling limit allowed in any quarter by the Forestry Commsission, without needing a licence.

There must be a formula or rule of thumb to give some guidance. I cannot find any help on the FC website.
