Anyone doing it this spring? Are you making wine? Got any tips to share?


I'll be giving it a go this spring hopefully make some wine.

Not sure I want my birches to grow big enough to do this! Now Maple syrup, thats a different thing. In the words of my hero Mr Simpson - "Mmmmmmmmmmmm". Can you make Beer out of the tappings?

Sycamore (a Maple) can be tapped as well & you can apparently evaporate it to something like maple syrup. Not yet tried it myself.
