Hello all

My Wife and I have owned a 18 acre wood in North Wales for 2 years and are enjoying it immensely. I have just discovered this forum and am looking forward to communicating with some like minded wood owners.

Cheers Richard

Hi Richard

I'm a new member from North Wales too - with some woodland in the Conwy Valley, anywhere near you?

Our wood is near Ruthin and is part of a larger woodland that is being sold in lots by Woods4sale.

Hi Richard

Dave and Jackie from Misty Wood here!

There seems to be quite a number of welsh wood owners on here. I see silent wood (behind misty wood ) is up for sale - rather expensive !!!

Hi Richard and Dave,

I've seen those woods I think- mostly beech, sycamore and ash aren't they? - very nice. We're in the Conwy Valley between Llanrwst and Tal-y-Cafn. Do you ever have any North Wales group meet ups?

Not yet, we are planning to meet up at WoodFest first and then take it from there. I have to get my head around good places to meet as the Wales owners live all over the uk!

Ond ron i'n meddwl bod "Cymru ddim ar werth"?!!

Ah that hadn't occurred to me! But thinking about it that must be why Joe Fielding often gives english names to the pieces of woodland he sells on the woods4sale site?

Anyway looking forward to meeting you at Woodfest!
