just a quick intro to say hi to everyone.

like some others here I\'m relatively new to owning woodland, but I have been falling out of trees since i was knee high to a short kneed thing. Work has taken me away from my roots, but buying a wood close to where i grew up is bringing me back. It\'s 6 acres of (mainly) chestnut coppice with oak standards near kilndown - see the blog at http://ewar-woowar.blogspot.com/

Hi Binz

Is it you thats got the really cool toilets built? I thought I saw them on your website - although that could have been someone else! If it was you - post a link to them!

No, not me. THe loo is a pit with a box built on top and a proper loo seat on that; but the screening was just tarpauline tied up with rope and it didn\'t survive the winter weather. A rebuild is on the list of things to do. Will probably build a \'bender\'. http://www.schnews.org.uk/diyguide/howtobuildabender.htm

Hi Bob!

You are very welcome! There are a lot of people around in this little group who are very interested in toilets! We had a good discussion about it at our last meeting.

Would you be willing to write a little article about building a simple toilet/ first ideas for toilets for the website? If you are happy to, email me, or you could put some ideas into the forum

[email protected]

Thanks!

Tracy
