Just to remind everybody that the deadline for responding to the Forestry Panel on the future of forestry policy in England is 31st July, just two days away. The Panel is to make recommendations on the future of ALL forests and woodlands in England, not just those in public ownership. That means it could affect YOUR wood. The Ramblers Association, for example, have a member on this panel, and are recommending that all woodlands, private and public, have a right of public access. If this were adopted, you would be required to make your woodlands open to and accessible to the public.
