Has anyone any expereince of these?

I was thinking one could be used as a store/shelter.

How secure could you make it?

Maybe half buried, covered with a tarp and soil they could be hidden from the morons who come into my wood.

I use 4 recurved ones for my main shelter.... Secured with a few stakes along the edge... covered in brash with a tarp entrance.... completeley waterproof.....loads of dead leaves on the floor makes for a lovely bed...

Sounds good, I would need a secure entrance to the shelter as kids would use it as a den/toilet/fireplace.

Did you re-shape it yourself? To give more height presumably.

No additional height...just recurved sheets slot together..no joining easy... about 4 foot high all i need...you could heighten yours by posionong the edges on a surround and then insulating the edges with leaves... rotting leaves/bracken works really well..

On the front pile in a couple of posts and then just wallop on a small door...you could make when easily with some split poles and secure with a small chain.. never make to secure it just makes thieves smash it to bits to get in...
