don't get too carried away with your shopping lists though - once you get the wood, you will understand (realise) that there are quite a few (and more) practical items that you could probably do with ;)

I always wonder why buyers drop out. I think, if I were you, I would want to contact the previous would-be buyer but I bet there are all sorts of reasons why the vendor's solicitors would not tell you. If it is something innocent lack lack of money etc then well and good, but what if there are significant reasons relating to the site that he/she luckily stumbled upon by making local enquiries?

Hope I am being stupidly pessimistic and it turns out well. We are approaching the first anniversary of ownership on 11th January and it has been worth every penny.
