How do you get the bird to keep coming back etc! ?

Thanks for explaining that. So the birds respond to calls , whistles? In terms of work do they go for all vermin, squirrels too?
The birds act completely on natural instinct, or is there some bird training involved?

Falconry is something that has always fascinated me, using nature against nature just seems right somehow.
