We have felled some large larch and oak as part of our thinning operation in part of our woods. On Friday 15th, we are having a local horse logger with his two shire horses come along to extract the logs from the area. We are using horse logging because although we have a quad and tractor, the area has beautiful bluebells and we don't want to churn up the wet ground and damage them.
