I think anyone interested in bee's and this under reported issue of colony collapse , needs to watch the documentary, Vanishing of the Bees.

I'll definitely be signing this petition, thanks for posting.

I'm really against pesticides / herbicide use, perhaps because I'm not an intensive farmer.

UK Environment Secretary Owen Patterson to vote against ban

Our bees are dying, but the environment minister is turning his back on them. Tomorrow, there’s an important vote in Europe, which could stop the use of the pesticides that scientists think are responsible for killing our bees. But Owen Paterson, the environment minister, is planning on scuppering the plans.
