Treehouse TV Series

Postby oldclaypaws » Wed Oct 23, 2013 9:47 pm

For those with Sky or other digital packages, I found an entertaining new series on the Discovery 'Animal Planet' Channel, currently airing on Wednesdays at 9pm.

"Treehouse Masters" is set in Washington State USA (where they have VERY big trees), and features professional treehouse builders strutting their stuff. Seems like a cross between extreme 'Grand Designs' and 'Axe Men', with large structures up to 250 feet up giant specimens. The one I'm watching now is aimed at containing a wedding reception, up a tree, with a honeymoon suite. Those Americans like to do things big.

No mention so far of the man from the Planning Department giving them grief :roll:

Link here to their website with lots of pics and video clips;

George Clarke's Amazing Spaces on channel 4. New series started last week, he has £100K (I think I heard that right!) to build a treehouse in a national park
