Hello
We are 2 1/2 hours around the M25 It would be wonderful if it was on the doorstep but ha ho
We tend to visit for 2 or 3 days at a time but also nip out early and leave late
Daily, its expensive but at least I enjoy (don't mind) driving
Added to this we have some lovely woodland neighbours that we see occasionally and have yearly get together and I think have similar aims for woodland management albeit from al different walks of life/backgrounds/etc.

So by my reckoning and the average speed on the M25, you must be about two miles from your wood, yes?

If I meet the farmer at the bottom of our lane who wants a chat, it takes me 2 1/2 hours to get the final 500 yards. If I could understand any of what he was saying it would help, but its all '''Effers, Ay-bales, over yonders and where ee be to?"

I am a towny from London but, since we got the woodland, the missus likes to say to me "we're country bumpkins now aren't we?". To which I like to reply in a puzzled west country accent: "Oi don't know where oi parked moi tractor!"

Well, it makes us giggle...
