The spelling was accidental but the rest wasn't cos I wouldn't want to be responsible for revealing the location....

Ta everyone. Boxerman - I've registered so when you authorise me I'll have a play. Thanks. I'll have a play with trello too. I've had a Facebook account and got p****d off with the crap on so called friends put on it. I know it will probably do the job but I also have a bit of a dislike for the big boys like Google, Yahoo etc even though I use them. I just don't like the way they seem to rule the world :( I'm in favour of the corner shop man.

You and me both - no info is safe from being harvested and sold at sometime in the future. There's a lot to be said for controlling things yourself.

Had a look at Trello and it looks good for project stuff but I don't think that's for me. Also had a look at Sgrouples - like the high importance they seem to put on security. Anyone know it or used it?

Why not make a closed FAcebook Group. You can post anything you like there and it's only seen by the members of the group. Free, easy and most people have a facebook account these days
