Went to a car boot on Saturday, 5 healthy potted 30cm plants for a tenner. 24.99 for 5 metres of 19mm plastic mesh to protect them and 89p for bigger pots (I have thrown countless numbers of these away during my life). So far about eight quid each, but the mesh and pots will be reuseable. In five years time I should start to reap the financial rewards of this little endeavour. Not sure it's going to finance an ocean going yacht, but I'll keep you updated.
