Tree Sapling Swap

Hi All.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping some Tree saplings ? .

I'm after 20-50 (or any really) sweet chestnut saplings say 12-24". If you fancy the same Ash ,hornbeam or possible Hazel in exchange, maybe we could do a deal ??

My wood is in Kent.

Any thoughts ???

The movement of living Ash plants is totally banned due to Chalara, and will be for the foreseeable future. You cant buy, sell, swap or give them away if it involves moving them to another location. To do so could lead to a £5000 fine. See legislation below. Movement of Ash logs for fuel is still OK.

Forget the Ash then !!!, shame, as I've hundreds of Ash and hornbeam etc but very few Sweet chestnut.
