Yes Terry, its a cunning bit of kit which I thought everyone would enjoy watching, but I wasn't proposing to get one, its quite expensive. For the budget I'd be better off as you say with an ATV and logging arch, or compact tractor. I'll cut upper boughs and irregular bits myself with a chainsaw mill as you say, but for the big straight valuable butts they'll probably be milled with a hired bandsaw once I've digested the various shifting and marketing options, but that's another discussion. Very busy currently spending most of each day working in the wood clearing a site for my shed and extra parking, now that my previously mangled mitt is functioning reasonably.
