A good friend that helps us out when we need a young pair of hands to do manual work tried joining up here a few days ago, he hadn't tried beforehand as he thought it was exclusively for "woodland owners" only, I told him that he would be welcome as there's quite a few non owners, yet he had a message saying that creating and joining SWOG is currently unavailable ???

was he doing something wrong, or is there a problem with the forum or is it something else??

Can you PM me the username and email address that they tried to signup using?I know that all signups go into a queue pending manual approval to prevent the creation of accounts automatically in response to spambots, trojans etc. Send me the details and I'll look into it. It may just be that it's in the queue waiting for Rich to look at it.
