Hi seen first bluebells of the year today out work only 4 miles from my woods but not expecting mine out for weeks yet? p.s lovely day yesterday in woods in the field next to me a farmer has a family of shire horses which he breeds & takes to shows is there a better sight than watching shires work the field with all there gear on ? could have been 100 years ago as dart valley steam train could be heard in the distance happy days!!

In our wood yesterday in the south-east there were several flowers up and blue but 'bells' still facing up and not down yet, with most flowers still not showing or still at ground level. But nice to see several Brimstone and Comma butterflies patrolling the rides, and several young common lizards basking in the sunshine.
Looks like Spring has finally arrived.

Easter Two Blue Bells out but lots of green shoots I am waiting in anticipation
