Strange name..im still working on chainsaws. Boomag,LTS and another german make without a name.? HZ-4500...these are all cheap and from abroad, but does that make them rubbish (the cheap bit). Do we get caught up on the Stilh and Husqvarna names.
Does anyone have a cheap piece that works, or do they fall apart.?

I don't know the make name but I spoke to a chap recently who had 3 saws. The most recent he'd bought from Aldi (I think) & he reckoned it was the best saw he'd ever used.
I think we do get a bit settled into our own preferred brand don't we. I've come to trust Stihl saws over the years so I always go for one - I feel safer digging into a largish tree with a saw that I have a fair bit of faith in - particularly when I only have one saw on site.
Would be interested to hear what saws other people are using.
