Anyone know of a good use for wood chips within a woodland? The kind that you get from using a wood chipper powered by sit down mower?

I had much the same thoughts Darren. I inherited the chipper so am wondering whether to keep it or sell it.
yes I mean a small tractor, the chipper is powered by a Westfield tractor/mower. Currently experiencing minor technical difficulties :)
We have used woodchip as mulch on our paths - we have one path that gets so boggy in winter, and it has improved it no end to have the chip from our brash on it.
Also, it is great stuff to put on the floor of chicken runs, so your local chicken-keepers might be interested. Bark chippings turn to a soggy mess but wood chip keeps its structure in winter and can be dug out easily and replaced when it gets messy.
Thanks for the tip. The Chickens option is a great idea as we intend to keep chucks. Also the land will get well boggy in places in winter I am sure. Maybe I wont sell it after all (putting thinking cap on).
