Gloves

Topics that don't easily fit anywhere else!

I use cheap Oregon gloves, a tenner a pair. I have wear something that protect my hands from the hawthorn and climbing roses. They don't get that wet inside. You can always buy two pairs and wear the other pair when they get wet.

Nice to see that good old H&S is still alive and kicking. Guess I must've missed the bit where they mention that you mustn't wear gloves.....

Thanks for the link Greyman. I have never seen that publication. When I went on BTCV training courses they always insisted on my getting frostbite rather than wearing a glove when using a billhook : "due to H&S regs". I have to wear contact lenses, so I always wear a helmet and visor anyway otherwise its back to the optician's to spend another £50 when a lense is flipped out by a pesky little twig.
