Birch poles

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me please? I am after a price for 100No. 3" x 2mtr high white birch poles for a project in a hospital to tranform a courtyard for sick patients. My email is: [email protected] Many thaks

Can i just check out here what is special about Birch? At a guess Ash would be easier and could these poles be riven?

birch won't last for very long if used for something outdoors

I would think birch is wanted for its visual impact, Ive seen it often used in shop window displays and restaurants in the round to create a woodland feel, and smaller clean cut billets to display Jewelery.
