Is anybody planning a tree planting event to mark this week? If so, would you be prepared to write something for the forthcoming newsletter about your event and how it went?
We are hoping to get the first 800 trees planted in our new wood to form a hedgerow connecting our wood to another piece of ancient woodland on the other side of our new field. We will then add another 3200 trees to plant 4000 in total over the winter.
On the Tree Council web site you can register your events, so people wanting to participate can come along and join in.
