Hmm..after planting 4500 trees, I'd say an ibuprofen of woodsmen. However I do like thicket as a collective noun!

I think the OP is looking for a word like "foresters" or "woodlanders" or "woodsmen" rather than a collective noun (as in "a stand" of woodlanders.)


"Woodlanders" itself sounds about right to me.

Im liking A Stand as it strikes me as we are planting our feet metephorially into the soil...in sticking our fingers up at convention, constraint , normality and bureracracy...though i suspects some may beg to differ having filled out their claims forms.
