Water

For those of you without a natural water source (stream etc), what do you do about water in your wood?

I'm thinking especially of drinking water, but also for any other uses you may have...

I had a quick look for you - but you are right, if the poster didn't put in tags, or put it in the correct section it is very difficult to find. I hope someone can find it for you!

Well I take one of those 5l spring water bottles from the supermarket with me....

I have a seasonal spring, but suspect that it may not be good to drink from it without boiling. When I was a boy however, we would drink from any river or stream that we cam across. My immune system probably was more robust then though.

We don't actually use great quantities of water so we take several 2 litre bottles up there and use ones from previous visits to boil for the kettle and the new ones for drinking.
