Hello
The Bulworthy Project is an experiment in low impact living and working. We produce charcoal in our woodland in Rackenford, Devon. We also run courses in charcoal production and sustainable harvesting of wood. These courses emphasise the role that charcoal production plays in habitat management. The full course takes 24 hours and gives the participants hands-on experience of charcoal production. This course is suitable for those who intend to produce charcoal themselves and those who wish to experience the process. We also run a 1 hour course where we explain the process of charcoal production and give a guided walk through our woodland explaining habitat-management. The 24 hour course costs £70 per person and the 1 hour course costs £5 per person. Either can be adapted to the interests of the individual.
Our products and services are endorsed under the Devon Wildlife Trust approval scheme.
As a small start-up business, we are looking to market our services and would be most grateful if you would pass on our details to anyone who you feel may be interested.
